TOP-NOTCH ROUND STAINLESS STEEL BAR

303 Rounds (or other 303 Stainless bar), 316 Rounds, and 304 Rounds etc are austenitic stainless steel bars which can be used in immensely corrosive conditions. These grades are characterized by exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride bearing surroundings, superb resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, immense resistance to general corrosion, and certain physical properties that render good mechanical strength.

The stock of 316 Rounds, 303 Rounds, 304 Rounds, 303 Stainless Bar and 416 Rounds at RHS Stainless is of the highest quality. We offer round bars in a variety of grades and sizes to meet the needs of all our customers.

Our on-hand stock and logistics are planned in a way that the customer gets their order delivered well within the promised lead time. Apart from ensuring the timely delivery of the orders, we also make sure that the 303 Stainless Bar, 416 Rounds, 316 Rounds, 304 Rounds and 303 Rounds are delivered as per specifications without any surface defects.

Our on-time deliveries and high quality round bars have gained us a reputation in the market as a valuable distributor of stainless steel bars.

Grade 303 (AISI 303)

Grade 303 or the UNS S30300 stainless steel bar, is free machining steel. Its impressive corrosion resistance and great machinability makes it one of the most used free machining stainless steels obtainable. UNS S30300 or Grade 303 is extensively used in different products starting from general machining like screw etc. Grade 303 is not responsive to heat treatment, but its impressive toughness is admirable just as with all the other austenitic grades.

Grade 303 is used in the following Industries:

  • All-Purpose Machining
  • Screw Machining

Products manufactured using Grade 303 are:

  • Bushings
  • Aircraft Fittings
  • Nuts & Bolts
  • Screws
  • Gears

Grade T304/304L

Grade T304/304L or UNS S30403 as it’s called technically, in general is preferred due to the fact that it is the low carbon content variant of Type 304 and because it is “free machining” variant. The Grade T304/304L comes with immense blend of corrosion resistance, strength and fabricibility, which makes it suitable for almost in all types of industries. The Grade T304/304L also is unresponsive to heat treatments, but the strength and hardness could be increased using cold working.

Grade T304/304L is used in almost every Industry

Products manufactured using Grade 304/304L are:

  • Architectural Railings
  • Chemical Containers, Even For Transport
  • Kitchen Benches & Sinks Troughs
  • Woven/Elded Screens
  • Food Processing Equipment
  • Threaded Fastener
  • Springs
  • Equipment & Appliances
  • Paneling & Trim

Grade T316/316L

Grade T316/316L also called as Grade 316 and UNS S31600 is an austenitic stainless steel which has chromium, molybdenum and nickel as its major alloying elements. Molybdenum (is not present in stainless steel Grade 304) addition is helpful for Grade T316/316L’s increased resistance in chloride environments and salt water. Grade T316/316L gives quite good creep resistance in high temperatures and it has better strength in comparison to stainless steel 304.

Grade 316/316L is used in the following Industries:

  • Chemical
  • Architectural
  • Mining & Marine
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Petroleum
  • Textile
  • Pulp & Paper
  • Water Filtration
  • Transportation

Products manufactured using Grade 316/316L are:

  • Compression Fittings
  • Ball Valves
  • Hardware
  • Flanges
  • Hose Fittings
  • Heat Exchangers
  • Lab Benches
  • Jewelry
  • Lab Gear
  • Strainers & Springs
  • Threaded Fasteners
  • Pressure RED Valves

Grade 416

Grade 416, also called UNS S41600 is a Martensitic grade of stainless steel. The Martensitic stainless steels have been manufactured as an alloy, which could be toughened using heat treatment and it also will be corrosion resistant, though it is not as resistive to corrosion as the ferritic or austenitic stainless steels. Stainless Steel 416 has respectable wear resistant, and is magnetic; it also is highly machinable. Its other qualities include: non-galling and non-seizing properties, sensible strength in hardened and tempered state and resistance to gently corrosive surroundings. Generally it’s ordered in T (tempered), H (hardened) and A (annealed) conditions.

Grade 416 is used in the following Industries:

  • Electrical Motor
  • Nut & Bolt
  • Gear
  • Pump
  • Valve

Products manufactured using Grade 416 are:

  • Axels
  • Fasteners
  • Bolts
  • Motor Shafts
  • Gears
  • Pinions
  • Nuts
  • Machine Parts
  • Pump Shafts
  • Studs
  • Appliance Parts
  • Valve Parts

AISI 17-4

The 17-4 stainless steel bar, also called as UNS S17400, Grade 630 and 17-4 PH was developed in the 50s and is called one of the original precipitation hardened grades. It is mainly comprised of 4% nickel, 17% chromium and 4% copper with the balance being iron. There also are trace amounts of phosphorus, manganese, silicon, sulfur, tantalum and columbium (or niobium). 17-4 PH Stainless Steel comes with a blend of corrosion and oxidation resistance. Some other characteristics include toughness, excellence in mechanical properties and high strength at temperatures equaling to 600° F. the 17-4 PH Stainless Steel is preferred by engineers because of its high strength and higher corrosion resistance in comparison to several other stainless steel grades.

AISI 17-4 is used in the following Industries:

  • Chemical
  • Aerospace
  • Metal Working
  • Food Processing
  • Petrochemical
  • Paper Industry
  • Petroleum

Products manufactured using AISI 17-4 are:

  • Air Guns
  • Boat Fittings
  • Bearings
  • Casting & Gears
  • Dental Parts
  • Gears & Springs
  • Fasteners/Hardware
  • Load Cells
  • Golf Heads
  • Molding Dies
  • Rifle Barrels
  • Waste Cacks
  • Propeller Shafts
  • Steer Systems
  • Diaphragms
